Technology

Built with vanilla JavaScript and bundled with Vite. Orbit propagation via satellite.js v7 — SGP4/SDP4 compiled from C++ to WebAssembly. Star positions from the Hipparcos catalogue. Planet and Moon positions via Keplerian orbital mechanics. World coastlines from Natural Earth via the world-atlas dataset. Map view powered by Leaflet with CartoDB tiles. Hosted on Cloudflare Pages. All computation runs client-side in the browser — no server required.
